Cheddar is a one-of-a-kind gelding with an "in your pocket" personality! He loves attention and stands beautifully for grooming, tacking, picking up hooves, bathing, and clipping. Cheddar is easy to handle on the ground, making him a pleasure to work with.
With a smooth walk, trot, and canter, he has an excellent neck rein and is capable of flying lead changes. He's versatile, having been used in both English and Western disciplines, from small jumps to fun day events. Whether you're hitting the trails or competing in shows, Cheddar is up for the challenge with a "point and go" attitude.
Although he is a bit forward, making him best suited for an intermediate rider, Cheddar has exceptional brakes and is never in a rush—he'll pick up the pace when asked. He’s great both alone and in groups, leading or following with ease.
Cheddar is traffic-safe, comfortable crossing water, bridges, and is fantastic with wildlife and dogs. He’s always the first at the gate to greet you and gets along with all horses in the pasture, whether mares or geldings.
