Meet Angie. This beautiful bay Trakehner mare is 17 years old and 16.2hh. Her registered name is, Always Angelina. This mare is so smart, brave, and never spooks, she has no barn vices and is so SO smooth to ride. She’s sensitive to cues in the way that if you know what you’re asking for you barely need any pressure, however she’s not sensitive in a flighty way! She’s very stoic and knows she’s gorgeous! She may be 17 but she still loves to rock the show scene!! She doesn't have any bad quirks and has done a bit of it all from the beginner to advanced Hunter jumpers, English pleasure, and as of now is living life as an amazing trail horse! She trail rides alone or with others and does great with traffic! She’s definitely one of the horses that you could go through a McDonald’s drive through with😆. She has never been barn or Buddy sour but does great with other horses! Steer her with your hand or legs she responds well to both! She does best in a bitless bridle but if a bit is needed she goes really well in the rubber snaffles! She has a full set of shoes with composits on her fronts to help her with traction on trails. Now to her story. This mare is the definition of lovely, perfect ears, perfect eyes, perfect movement, and perfect personality. However her start to life wasn’t so great. This mare was and is a twin, when she was born her dam and sibling did not make it due to the hard labor and Angie was the only one to come out of it alive. Because of that Angie became a bottle baby. She’s been around people her whole life and loves attention. This mare has been amazingly socialized and loved on, but it still wonderful to be around, and isn’t your typical pushy and stubborn bottle baby. She’s respectful, kind, sweet, and just wants to please. She truly wants to find her final home with people that love her and will take care of her for the rest of her life. Angie has been loved for years and years by her present owner, and this is her second home ever. She’s forced to sell due to financial reasons and this was not an easy decision whatsoever. We will be very picky as to where she goes as she needs to find her forever people. Very reasonable sale!! Looking to sell to a good home as soon as possible. This mare is on consignment with me and although she has been owned by the same women for 10+ years financial reasons force sale. This was not an easy decision but it it the best decision for this lovely mare. She needs someone to be 'her person' and we will wait until the right home comes along but we are hoping that is sooner rather than later!
