Color Me Black aka Blackie is a well built jet black gelding standing 15.2hh. He is a 2012 Model registered in the AQHA with a good pedigree. Blackie has been used around the ranch checking cattle and he has roped and doctored several as well. He knows all about ranch work and is prepared to help you anytime that the situation calls for it! Blackie loves to just cruise along slow and easy down the trails and he is a horse that the whole family can ride and enjoy! He is an excellent trail horse and has been ridden in multiple states. He will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He is safe riding in traffic. He has a smooth jog, a nice lope, has a good stop, turns a circle both ways and backs with ease! Blackie is a confident horse on the trails and will lead the crew or head out alone with no issues! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been ridden many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. Blackie is not cinchy, cold backed, does not crib or weave. Blackie is a horse that anyone would be proud to own and one that anyone will love!!!
