Rita is an absolute amazing horse, very gentle and calm, not a mean bone in her body. She is very willing and wants to please. Excellent ground manners -- clips, ties, bathes, stands for farrier, trailers, etc all perfectly. Was started under saddle earlier this year and taken slow, absolutely no buck in this horse!! She has a great foundation on her and is ready to go to the next level. She will walk, trot and lope under saddle. Has done arena work, trails, goes through water, started on the cutting flag and moved cattle. She gets along great with other horses. With more miles, she will be the type that anyone can ride and you could let her sit for months and then hop on and go, she is just that laid back about everything. Has been to a few local shows and shown in Halter and Walk/Trot classes and did really well with all the noise and distractions. Selling only because I do not have the time to consistently ride her right now and I don't want her to go to waste. No bad habits, is currently barefoot and no soundness/lameness issues. She would make an awesome broodmare and is homozygous black (EE aa D/nd1 W20/W20) and 6 panel negative by parentage. Photos taken 12/5/24 in her winter woolies.
