The kids have trail ridden and driven Chester through the mud, over logs and obstacles. He rides off away from the other horses without making a fuss, and will keep up with the big horses if ridden on a group ride. He has been exposed to about all that a child can show one, and has handled it all in stride. Hop on him bareback with a halter and lead rope, put a saddle on him, or hook him up to the cart.
