About Murray
• Temperament: Exceptionally friendly, confident, and people-oriented. He enjoys grooming, bathing, and handling. He’s been extensively handled since birth and displays the beginnings of having excellent manners around the barn and while trailering. Murray stands quietly for clipping and thrives when paired with a gentle, older companion, as he’s toward the bottom of the pecking order in turnout. He also enjoys spending his nights in a stall and loves taking naps.
• Training: Lightly started with 30 days under saddle training in Fall 2023 with Brand Clark in Michigan. During training, he worked under saddle confidently in both indoor arenas and on trails. He accepts a saddle and bridle without fuss and is ready to restart and move forward in a way that suits him.
• Build & Movement: Leggy, typey build with a strong foreleg, great shoulder, and lofty movement.
• Disposition: Calm and brave. Stood quietly for branding, vaccinations, and routine care. A barn favorite with a playful, goofy side that makes him a joy to be around.
