Penny is a 10 yr old, red roan gaited mare, but looks sorrel. I got Penny because she likes to go and moves out nicely. I did not get her because she is gaited and don’t ask that of her, so she will need a tuneup if that’s what you’re looking for. I do the Pony Express reride every year and she’s great! Confident and bold on the trail and gives 100%…. Water, bridges, bicycles no problem. She likes being in a group, but will ride out by herself… In fact that’s most of the riding I do along with some foxhunting. Have ridden her in the Nevada Day Parade several times and she’s great. In the parade photo Penny is carrying the blue Nevada flag. She will walk slow if riding with slower horses. Intermediate rider. No vices, and is current, shoes on.
