Cujo is a beautiful roan red dun, come spring when he sheds his winter coat, he will be one of the prettiest colors you’ll ever see! Cujo is 13 years old and stands firm 15HH. If you’re looking for a fun enjoyable ride every time, you’re sure to love him! Cujo is just about as easy going as they come, gentle as the day is long and will be transitional enough for all level of riders. Previously, Cujo was a low level jumper for the kiddos and he has won many competitions with beginners to intermediate English riders. I am obviously no English rider, but I have jumped him in a western saddle and WOW! Currently he has been our go to trail steed and has been rode all over the forests, beaches and trail California has to offer. He is happy anywhere in the herd, will cross anything you point him at and is a worry free, no spook, type of guy! He has a flashy movement and always carries himself collected, low headed and correct. He walk-trot-lopes the prettiest circles, has a good sliding stop and pivots shoulders and hind quarters at the soft touch of a foot. He will easily side pass, do flying lead changes, and back up effortlessly. He has also been around the ranch and is familiar is cattle, as well as other farm animals. You can open gates from his back, and do anything else you please. Cujo is laid back and never gets fresh or sour. You can carry flags, tarps and anything else you want on his back. This pretty guy will suit anyone from the weekend warrior trail rider, a kiddos wanting to get into that show ring, or a family home looking for a sweet boy to love on!
