Horse for Christmas! Sugar plum is a 6 year old 15.3 hands (never raced) thoroughbred mare bred in Maryland raised in Colorado. Her dam is Shanfeild, sire I do not recall as it’s been a long time and she is unregistered. She is unbroke as my mother who has owes her does not ride but this mare has so much potential and needs to be ridden and worked with which is why she is for sale. She is completely sound, has never had an injury (unlike most Tb’s). She is unregistered as we did not race her. We got her when she was 6 months old so she has not been from home to home. I think she has a lot of potential for just about anything! She is a super easy keeper. Eats just 1 scoop of grain in the Am and 1 scoop for pm feeding and is definitely a good weight if not a little fat. She is great for farrier, loads in a trailer, stands for grooming and blankets, and great with my mares, gelding, and minis. She is currently pasture in with a mini gelding and does great (even before he was gelded). She has been ridden bareback a couple times in a pasture and has never offered to buck, rear, bolt, etc. However she does need groundwork and is herd sour currently. She would do best with an advanced handler. We are offering her for 💲1️⃣,4️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ if she is sold before Christmas for a quick uncomplicated sale .
