Shady Star is a gentle puppy dog gelding that is the definition of a snuggle bug. Came off the track in July and has been let down nicely. Can live in or out. Is the middle of the pecking order. Sound barefoot (would require front shoes if road riding). Stands there to be clipped like a gentleman. Single and cross ties. Stands to be bathed and loves the farrier. All attention is good attention to this sweet guy.

He has been nicely restarted under saddle and is successfully going walk, trot, canter under saddle and is started over fences. Kick ride but holds his pace(wonderful cruise control). Has trailered to other locations to ride. He takes a joke, and is the point and shoot type for pole and jumping work. I think he would enjoy the hunt field as well. Has been ridden by advanced beginners and has no funny business under saddle. Due to his size, natural uphill build and large stride, I would not recommend him for a child.

Up to date on all vaccines, coggins, wormer(off of fecal test), dental and farrier work.
