“Sue” is a big and beautiful 6yo DHH cross mare. Sired by imported KWPN stallion Wilfred (Nando). Her dam was a big, athletic TB/Clyde cross. She is microchipped and registered with ADHHA, USEF and USDF. Sue is a gentle and sweet soul who enjoys human interaction and is the same horse every day. She easily carries a larger rider (I am the 5’11” rider in the photos). With limited showing she was 2024 NM Dressage Association champion at Training level (average 70%+) and is currently schooling 1st level. She is a safe and steady ride for kids, older folks and horse husbands. She has been trail ridden over a variety of terrain in groups of 2 to 20+. Safe around barking dogs and speeding cars. She loads, trims, ties and clips with no problem. Always barefoot and sound. Easy keeper who lives outdoors 24/7 with other horses eating free choice hay (and a handful of grain). Sue has intermittent issues with allergies/heaves in our harsh NM environment which has made regular dressage training a challenge. She needs to find a 5 star home that can reliably provide a healthier/ less dusty environment for her. This should include some pasture access (at least part of the year) and optimally a variety of riding opportunities (she loves getting out on the trail). I think she would also enjoy learning to jump. As a broodmare prospect she would cross best with a lighter boned stallion. If bred to a KWPN stallion, her foals can be presented for registration.
