Seeking PASTURE PET home for two hackney ponies. Pasture pet home because they have only been handled as such for the last 10 years. I have sat on Dana and she didn’t mind however NOT SELLING AS RIDING PONIES. It is also a known fact that neither pony have been started under saddle. Dana was previously shown in the hackney circuit in her much younger years. They are registered but we do not have the information to get their papers. These ponies would be an adorable addition to your herd as either companions or just enjoyment. They love to be brushed and doted on. They are good with dogs, easy to handle, tie well, and do good in a herd setting.

They are in their early 20s but don’t be fooled by their age! They are spunky and full of life.
Dana and Bruce are very fun to have around, easy to trim, and over all good for the farrier/vet. Both ponies are easy on fences, good in “gen pop” and currently share a pen with 2 donkeys. Dana knows how to ground drive and was shown in her past life. We do not have their registration papers or a way get them. These ponies came from an animal control seizure and now 3 years after rescue/rehab we are still trying to find them their person.

I would love to find them a home where they will get more one on one with their human. Dana and Bruce have worn blankets in severe storms but are over all very VERY easy easy keepers. They are “air ferns.” They both have decent teeth and are healthy. They received dentals this last June and are kept on a 8 week trim cycle. They are sound, healthy, and happy little cuties that just want their own person!
