Pickup man horse, ranch horse, cowboy dressage, head horse, hunter over fences, eventer?! He’s gonna be able to do it all. Dibbs is a coming two year old Warmsprings Reservation colt. I did mark down “mustang” on this website however he is technically are feral bred domestic horse. Dibbs was born early April of 2023 on the range. He was found as a week old orphan, we raised him with another orphan for the first few weeks then continued to raise them in a herd setting with other adult horses. Dibbs is good with all species and sexes of equids including donkeys, minis and other baby colts. Dibbs is good on fences and shelters. Although Dibbs was an orphan we were mindful of how we raised him to not cause undesirable behavior. Dibbs is very easy to handle and is not pushy like some orphans tend to be. Dibbs was raised like a baby should be, turned out, and caught when the farrier comes. Dibbs has been handled quite a bit. He ties, loads in a trailer, stands like a perfect gentleman for the farrier, and is good for just about anything you’d want to do with a yearling. He is a yearling though, so his training is limited. Dibbs is a clean slate with currently no bad habits or vices. Yes he is easy to catch and his right in the trailer. I have never hauled with dividers though, and he does not know how to back out yet! Dibbs is up to date on vaccinations, deworming, farrier care, and was castrated November of 2023. I expect Dibbs to mature well into 16 hands and 11-1200+ pounds based off his current height, and build. Dibbs has clean legs, great hooves, and a ranchy/athletic build. He is leggy with a short back and neck. He does have a hammer head but I think it makes him look old school cool. 😎 If you know my horses Wanda, Maverick, Jack and Ira he is going to be a lot like them.- Pretty close to perfect and do everything/anything on them. Dibbs personality is laid back and chill. He has never been a spooker and is a very confident horse. If he is unsure of something he wants to stop and think. He would be best appreciated in the hands of someone who isn’t aggressive or pushy with their horses. He is sensitive but not overly sensitive where it gets in the way. Dibbs is an easy keeper and currently being free fed choice grass hay, horse guard vitamin and a scoch of alfalfa at night. (Hard to gauge how much alfalfa because he’s with other babies but I’d say 5-10#) Dibbs has worn blankets however we tend to put off blanketing unless we’re going to have freezing rain. Dibbs is over all, kind, smart, easy going and very trainable. Please text or call me 541-915-9994. Do not message me on here, I do not check my messages.
