10 yr old blue roan ranch gelding, 15.3 hands. Bought cactus as a yearling and started him slow. Started under saddle as a 3 year old, rode flat ground as a 4 year old moving cows, 5 year old riding on hills. Cactus is sound, no ground issues or bad habits.

Used mostly as a ranch horse but has been rode in the arena. Cactus has done a lot of things moving and gathering cows and calves, drug calves to the fire, trail riding, ponied colts, team penning, and ranch sorting. Been in lots of parades, last 5 years rode him in the Pendleton Round Up parade and worked slack at the rodeo. I have carried calves on him, not afraid of water or ditches, he will cross anything. Has been exposed to mounted shooting several times send did well. Haven’t shot off him.

Spent 6 months at a feedlot working every other day. Reason I am selling him is I have two colts I want to start. I like starting colts, ride them and then when they are cactus age sell them and start and their colt
