Please read the entire ad: Ty is a coming 6 year old gelding who I bred and raised. I’d be lying if I said that writing this ad doesn’t hurt me a little. I bred Ty as my next upper level eventing horse but life has changed a lot for me having a daughter. I kept Ty around thinking that I was going to magically find the time to raise a young upper level horse. Well turns out I have no free time. So I put Ty into 3 months of professional training after breaking him when my daughter was younger and then I thought again that I would find the time to continue his training after that. Well turns out, still no free time. So then my next plan was, I’ll just keep him til I find the time. But that’s just me being selfish. So I have decided to list him to see if I could find him his forever person! Now to get to the horse: Ty: he is a 16.2 hand gentle puppy dog horse. That in its self has led to some challenges. He would rather be lazy and do nothing with his life. He is a long horse (wears an 81/82 blanket) and if he isn’t asked to use his body appropriately, then he becomes sore and looks like a giraffe. It has been so important in his development to keep him in full training and using his body, core, and haunches appropriately. But yet again, I have failed on that. He was in professional training a year ago and he has had a total of a months work since then. So, he is green broke but really has not gone in any direction at this point. I truly believe he will shine with someone who wants a forever horse. He deserves that person. He is so sweet but gets bored easily and would love someone to play with him daily. His boredom can be annoying, he likes to pester other horses over the fence or in the pasture, he likes to rearrange his stall toys/feed buckets/ water buckets, really anything he can grab with his mouth, he will play with. He gets along with all horses (meaning he likes everyone even if they don’t like him). He loves all other animals and if they will play with him he will love them more. He eats a lot of groceries, but is easily maintained with weight. He can live on dry lot or pasture, he has had both in his life. He can be let out on lush green pastures without issues. He has solid feet, stands for farrier, has never been shod. He likes to stand next to any fence line and flick his tail on the metal and has pulled out a ton of tail hairs which is why his tail is shorter currently. I think that’s all I can say about him but if you have any questions, please feel free to text me (5303202246). I have a current video of him driving. I am awful and don’t have many photos because once I had my daughter, I stopped taking photos of my horses and mostly my daughter. And to be clear, I’m not in desperate need to sell him, I’m just hoping to find him his person.
