Sawyer is an 8-year-old, 15.2-hand dapple grey Grade Quarter Horse gelding. Before joining us, Sawyer spent his time as a trail horse in the Pennsylvania countryside, excelling in that role. He is versatile, as he can go both English and Western, and has been progressing with training to work in the arena and jumping schooling up to 2 feet with trainer. However, Sawyer has made it clear that being a lesson horse is not his preference. While he is sound and safe—showing no signs of bucking, rearing, or bolting—he is a one-person horse, bonding with a particular rider and can get nervous if exposed to too many personalities. He is not recommended for a beginner, as he can be pushy on the ground, requiring a more experienced handler who can provide firm guidance. Located in Central NJ. https://youtu.be/S72Je71xIfo
