He was Professionally started (90days)by a Reining Trainer!
He could go any direction!
Leads, loads & backs out nicely, ties & cross ties,bathes, Blankets, trims/ currently has front shoes, lounges, hauls, dogs, electric fence.
Has been doing arena work 3 tob4 days a week, working on fundamentals (leg aides, haunch turns, sidepassing, neck reining, roll backs, etc.) since coming home in Oct.
Huck has also been to a few Sortings (3 total, 5-7 runs each time) and showing a HUGE interest in the cows. Has also been to the O.H.C. in Eugene, played around on the trail course.. Didn't get in the big ponds, but did cross the running creek (wasn't pretty, but it's something to build on)..
Huck is coming along nicely. Stull needs a little help with his transition into the right lead, but it's getting better each time he's ridden. Still has a few baby moments occasionally, but nothing dangerous or stupid!!
** He would greatly benefit being put back into a training program OR continue to be rode 3-5 days a week, to further his training in any direction , due to him still being young..
*Would recommend Advanced Intermediate or Advanced rider only because he's young.
