🌲WILLOW🌲 offered for your consideration: Breed: TWH Mare Age: 7yr Height: 15.1h Maintenance: Front shoes, Joint supplement Experience level: Advanced Willow is a very experienced trail horse looking for her new home. Willow has a ton of training and is pretty fancy! Willow has been working on her gaiting ability and collection and does extremely well in a program. In the past, Willow has been owned by a novice owner and has gone on many many many trails. Willow has been camping and does well off property. Willow is quiet, sound, and easy to ride for an experienced rider. We do not recommend Willow for inexperienced or beginner riders. In a group, Willow prefers to be the leader and will test her rider to try and get to the front. Willow is extremely well behaved in an arena, but in an open field she will try to go back to the barn if the rider allows her too. For this reason, her retirement age owner is looking to move on to something that doesn’t require a program, and would prefer something a little easier. Willow has experience in boarding facilities as well as in her owners backyard. In our experience, Willow is a very dominant mare and can be extremely pushy with other horses. Willow currently does well with one other gelding who keeps her in line. Willow is easy enough to handle on the ground, and is very fun to ride. She has no true under saddle vices. Willow knows how to leg yield, canter, jump small jumps, among many other attributes. Willow would be a GREAT addition to any trail string or even a nice horse for an experienced trail rider who wants to go on long expeditions or camping trips. Willow wears front shoes and is a very easy keeper. She eats free choice hay, 1/2 scoop of purina senior per day, and gets a joint supplement for joint support. Willow’s owner would like to get her moved quickly to the correct home, so she can focus more on her new, more appropriate horse. Willow is priced at 🎱0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ or best offer, and is located in Western PA.
