"Spud" is the comfort food we all long for on a cold winter day. His kind demeanor, bravery and 3 correct gaits make him an absolute pleasure to ride. He has the brain and speed for 1st flight, with experience in 2nd/3rd. Spud is big bodied and steady, and easy to mount from the ground. He is kind to the hounds and also is pygmy goat, sheep, and chicken proof. He would do best in a home that is ambitious for Eventing, Fox Hunting, Hunter/Jumper, or Dressage. He will hack out alone and in a group, crosses water, never refuses jumps, loads, ties, and bathes. Spud has excellent manners, stunning markings including one blue eye, and is currently barefoot. He is the perfect addition to any hunt as he allows fractious horses to crash into his personal space with zero excitement. This potato is not a deadhead however, he would be perfect for a petite adult or competent teen. He has plenty of speed, is responsive off your leg and seat, with an excellent whoa.
