Stunning Buckskin daughter of our double registered (TWHBEA and McCurdy) stallion, Little John Lester! She has been exposed to Gen's Roan Reward for a 2025 foal but I just realized we never confirmed if she was in foal. We plan to bring her in to preg check her next week and her price is subject to change if confirmed in foal. If not in foal she could be bred to choice of our 2 homozygous roan stallions, Blue Sky Walker or The Dark Side, in February.
This nice mare is selling as a broodmare only due to being severely mishandled (and mistreated) under saddle by a previous owner but she is an easy mare to handle and is a great mother. We tried to restart her but she has a lot of fear under saddle now and would be a huge project to get back going under saddle. We started her ourselves as a 2 year old and she was a very nice riding mare prior to being sold by us.
She had a stunning Bay Overo filly in 2024 and was an excellent mother. Her filly was phenomenally gaited and such a sweet, sweet filly. I will be VERY picky where this mare goes and she will only go to someone that will give me first right of refusal should she ever need to be sold. The only reason she is being offered for sale is we are drastically reducing our broodmare band.
