Will bushwhack all day, cross water and obstacles, is great to build other horses confidence on the trails along with your own. Heโs ridden trails in Idaho and eastern WA for 5 years now. Rain, shine, snow, all of it.
He can work at liberty, knows a handful of tricks, has had kiddos as young as 2 ride him and run all over and under him! โค๏ธ
Knows The Method fundamentals and has limited showing experience as well.
I purchased him to show and over the years it just hasnโt happened outside of his limited experience as a 2 year old in the WT WP Level 1. We recently did showing lessons August - December with Fords Performance Horses and stopped due to budgeting. He would do great in HUS, WP, trail, halter, ranch versatility and more. He has a smooth, comfortable lope, nice jog and SLOW walk. Heโs lightly started in trail and has a great handle on showmanship and have a video on that. He is NOT a finished show horse but is very close and would take little time to get him perfected.
If youโre wanting trail only - this is still the horse for you! Slow walk, comfortable jog and a lope you could rock with all day. Knows to stand tied as he was trained for photos.
We are hoping to find Hotrod a long term home with a family and kids who will love him the rest of his days. He loves to adventure and have a job!
