Kobe is a 5 year old Roan Paint gelding. We bought him in September of 2023, unfortunately my sister cannot continue to ride. Kobe is a fabulous, calm, well-behaved, smart young horse. In a herd he gets along with all horses and knows his place. He has been around dogs and does not react to them running around him or under him. He has great ground manners, ties and will stand any where you tie him. Our goal was to have Kobe be a safe, well trained trail horse. We also wanted him to be a good arena horse that we could ride English saddle and work on low level dressage movements. Because of his training you can ride him on a very loose rein or a tighter rein. He uses a basic snaffle bit. When we bought him he was well trained under saddle but still needed to be finished. We gave him a full year of training, primarily following the Clinton Anderson method with a really good trainer. He became very confident and trusting in his training. Kobe has had much trail riding, has been exposed to cars, motorcycles, paved roads, ditches, water and riding in the river. He still needs work in crossing water. He is not spooky and has good energy. He hauls with no problem, loads & unloads safely. He goes out alone or with other horses. Kobe is barefoot and has been trimmed on a seven week schedule. He is also a very good citizen with the Vet. He is up to date with vaccines & teeth floated. He has no kick, bite, buck or rear. He has no bad habits and is not a cribber. Kobe stands at about 14 hands. I will stick him next week and give an exact height. Kobe is a fun, lovely, well behaved horse. With continued training & miles he will mature into an exceptional riding companion. We are asking $7,500 open to a bit of negotiation to the right home. Located in Las Cruces, NM. We will pull a Coggins
