Shocker is one of the most level headed horses I’ve ever had the privilege to own and to train. He has taught multiple kids how to ride and instilled their love for horses! He is a confident booster type who is super kind and always works to please. Shocker is LP/LP and therefore is also night blind. This doesn’t affect him whatsoever, but he does require a safe place to stay where he is alone or ‘boss horse’ for nighttime. Shocker also has a minor club foot. We keep him barefoot and trimmed every 4 weeks which keeps him remaining perfectly sound. Shocker is great on the trails and willingly walks out in front or happy to lag behind as well. His emotions are naturally very level and calm. My kids as well as some of my lesson students have rode him in local POA shows as well as queen contests and parades. He also stood in as ‘Mary’s donkey’ in my grandma’s Nativity play where he carried ‘Mary’ to ‘Bethlehem’ inside where a cast of children stood and an audience sat watching. Shocker is truly a one in a million.
