Copper is an 11yr old buckskin quarter horse gelding standing the perfect height of 15hands. Copper is a well trained gelding that is gentle and safe for the whole family. He is a seasomed trail horse and has also been roped and ranched on and he knows what a days work is like.
Copper is great with kids and has been ridden by all ages and takes care of his rider no matter the situation. Copper rides great on the trails, and will go over logs and through water and wherever you point him with no hesitation!
Copper is laid back and will go whatever speed you choose, he rides the same everyday whether you ride him weekly or once a month, it makes no difference to him. He walks out with a loose rein everytime. Copper is very friendly and meets you at the gate. Copper also rides great in the arena and picks up both his leads and has a smooth and comfortable walk, trot and canter. Copper also rides english.
Copper neckreins, sidepasses and is soft in the bridle. I think Copper would make an excellent lesson horse because he does not get rattled and is very forgiving. Copper is quiet enough for my little boys to brush, lead and play around with. Copper does well inside or turned out in a mixed herd. He is up to date on farrier, dewormer and had his teeth done this spring. I think Copper is an elite gelding!
