Are the traits of performance and gentleness important to you? Take a look at Chuckles. Sired by Canadian Supreme Reserve Champion and AQHA World Champion LOKOTA CHIC, by the legendary SMART CHIC OLENA, a member of the NRHA Hall of Fame and sire of earners taking home $14,757,950. Some genetics are just because, while others have purpose. You be the judge. IMA DUALLY CUTTER is bred to work a cow and that's exactly what he's spent his career doing. Chuckles is a flashy 7-year-old solid bay gelding standing the perfect height of 14.3HH and weighing approximately 1200lbs. He's been used extensively on a 38000 acre ranch in southern Saskatchewan, Canada, looking after 1100 pairs, doctoring, moving cows to different pastures, sorting and pulling bulls, roping cows, bulls and calves and doing every other ranch job there is to do. He has been tied off while doctoring cattle and works the rope like an anchor. He has put in long days riding the big circles in some very tough terrain from steep hills and valleys to rocks and marshy ground. He's spent time in the northern Rocky Mountains of BC working on a ranch and navigating thick brush and water. He has feedlot experience doctoring, sorting, pen checking, opening and closing gates and he's quiet around equipment, cats and dogs. Tarps, balls, water, bridges, noises - he will handle anything that can be thrown at him like a gentleman. This gentle gelding has been started on the heel-o-matic on both the head and heel side and breakaway started as well. He has a big stop and lots of natural rate. He's been started on live cattle on both the head and heel side and he will watch and get to a cow. He is currently being hauled to jackpots in the Maricopa area. Chuckles has also been started on the flag and on cattle. He is suitable for a handy youth both in and out of the arena. He rides out in a group or alone and he's not a lonely horse at all. He's content to walk out on a a trail and he does it all on a loose rein. Chuckles is the definition of safe. He has the personality that will get along with most any rider and will give them confidence in what they're doing. If you're a seasoned pro, he has exactly what you need and if you're someone looking for a safe, enjoyable trail ride on a Sunday afternoon, he'll do exactly that. Give him time off and he'll be the same horse every time. Chuckles is UTD on worming, farrier and dental and is sound with a clean set of radiographs and health check. Give us a call to schedule a time to come see him and take him for a test ride. We'd love to introduce him to you! For more information call Darcy at 306.741.2145.
