We are pleased to introduce Tenns Special Gun, affectionately known as Willy around the barn. He is a 2017 model AQHA brown gelding standing 14.2 hds tall. This exceptional young gelding boasts a pedigree rich with champions, including the renowned 6666 Ranch stallion Playgun, whose offspring have collectively earned over $10 million. Willy is also a great-grandson of Smart Lil Ricochet, the sire of multiple NCHA champions with total offspring earnings exceeding $3.9 million. Willy possesses a delightful personality and a strong desire to please. He has undergone exceptional training, making him a pleasure to ride. This gelding exhibits a smooth gait at all speeds, effortlessly walking, trotting, and loping in circles. He is responsive to leg cues, including side passing, and showcases an impressive turnaround in both directions. Willy's lead departures are flawless, and he glides through his gaits like a rocking chair. Having participated in ranch riding events, Willy is well-suited for youth or amateur riders seeking a show horse. He is backed by an America Ranch Horse certificate and has been trained using the Craig Cameron horsemanship methods. Willy has extensive experience working outside, including checking cattle and fences, loading trucks, and bringing up roping cattle. His keen ability to work with cattle makes him an excellent candidate for ranch sorting events. He has also been started roping the lead steer and shows great promise as a rope horse. Willy is not only an exceptional working horse but also a wonderful trail companion. He confidently navigates water, logs, and brush, and his adaptability extends to varied terrains, including hills. He remains calm and composed in urban environments, handling bright lights, traffic, and crowds with ease.
