Yall meet Rita, the sweetest girl on the block. Rita is a great all around gal, point her in any direction and I think she’ll succeed. Although I think she’d make a great cow horse as we’ve been tracking the sled with her. We’ve pushed cattle on her, worked in the arena, took her on the trails and even into town. She stands for the ferrier politely and loads in the trailer with no hesitation. Absolutely ZERO buck or rear from her. Most recently she’s been ponying our 2 year old around to get the baby out and about and see new things. She’s extremely patient with the learning 2 year old, and doesn’t as much as twitch her ears to her. She’ll slide right up to a gate for ya and make it easy. She’ll stand tied quietly for you, and gets along with everyone in our heard mare and geldings, doesn’t show signs of food aggression at all. She’s 100% sound, and safe for you and your kids! Our 8 year old has ridden her around no problem. As for on the ground she is 100% kid & dog safe. She’s an easy keeper, and requires no maintenance, currently barefoot with no signs of needing shoes!
