Meet “Dozer,” a 13 year-old, 15.2 hand, Chestnut, Grade Quarter Horse gelding. Dozer is an absolute barn favorite and loves attention! He’s as safe as they come, and very connected and kind. Dozer has wonderful manners, stands in cross ties, hard ties, stands in stocks, stands tied to the trailer, in the wash rack, anywhere. He has tons of experience and loves the trails- take him alone or in a group, in a western saddle, English saddle, or bareback in a halter! He is wonderful with any age or level of rider, and would be a lovely horse for a grandmother, grandkids, husband, or out of town guests. You can ride Dozer carrying a crop, whip, or a spur, as well as in sneakers and shorts. He can go in any bit, or in a halter. Dozer is happy to quietly walk on the trail and takes care of his rider. If you want to trot and canter he’s very happy and safe for that too and has a very easy and safe “go” and “whoa” on the trail and in the arena. Dozer is the same horse every time and is good with wildlife, dogs, very small children, traffic, roads, bridges, tarps, riding backwards, riding double, riding in a storm at night with wind and pouring rain, he’s a can-do type! Dozer is super for the farrier and vet. He is great with clippers and for shots and worming. He loads, trailers anywhere and is happy and ready to explore anywhere you go! Dozer has done ranch work, several working equitation clinics, crosses wooden bridges and goes through water. He can pony other horses, opens gates, and has been camping. Dozer is happy to live in a stall, stall with paddock, or pasture and gets along with all of the horses he’s been with, mares or geldings. He can sit for a month and comes out just the same with no lunge needed! Dozer also does walk, trot, canter in the arena as well as rein back, turn on the forehand, and turn on the haunches. He’s started leg yields, shoulder-in, renvers, and travers, but prefers to just have a good time. Dozer is a confidence builder and is always honest and forgiving. He’s a perfect horse for the whole family. If you can hold the reins, this horse will take care of you! He is always safe on the ground and on his back, you can climb all over him and he just appreciates the attention. He has clean legs and is up to date on teeth, vaccines, and worming. Dozer does need shoes and has had his hocks injected once. Dozer is an easy keeper and otherwise healthy and low maintenance. Seller bought Dozer to build confidence and he did his job many times over. They have set their sights on competitive dressage, but it’s not suited to wonderful Dozer. Come meet this adored horse and fall in love!
