Very beautiful and very well made AQHA 10 year old 15.3 hand Buckskin gelding. Ryan is the true meaning of pretty is and pretty does! He is in the prime of his life and is as good of a versatile gelding you will find. He has all the good in the world going for him. His color is lovely, of course, but if you look beyond that, you will equally admire his strong build, bone structure, confirmation and movement. Add to that his kind soft eye and his wonderful personality, you will no doubt see that you have found a horse just a little different and above many others. This horse is the perfect combination of Gentle and kind with a great working Ranch horse résumé and a trail rider‘s dream as well. In the arena, Ryan is broke in the bridal and will ride softly and collected. He works well off of leg and hand cues. Takes his leads, has a good stop, back soft and will side with precision to work the gates. He pivots correctly on both hind and front end as well. You couldn’t ask for a more solid or settled horse to ride out anywhere. From our busy urban streets to our rugged mountain trails he is solid, solid solid! He is literally unconcerned about anything and everything we ride past in the neighborhood or out on the trails. Ryan is truly a trail rider’s unicorn. No matter what level of trail you are riding or that you are doing or where you’re doing it he has you covered. Rides out alone or with the group and his location within the group is insignificant to him. From water crossings of all kinds to Trail bridges, to tricky steep terrain, are all things he’s accustomed to dealing with and handles it like it’s just another day at the office. Ryan has spent a lot of time on the ranch working cattle and also has a lot of outside roping experience. He is tough as nails, can drag the biggest of bulls with ease and quietly does whatever job is asked of him with no fuss. He is also outstanding at the trail obstacles and would greatly excel in trail horse competitions, or weekend Ranch riding horse shows. This is an outstanding, very gentle, very good natured gelding that gets along anywhere you put him. Whether it be in a box stall or turned out with other mares and geldings. Catch him where you find him if he doesn’t find you first.
