Jax is a 2010 15.1hh mare, been there, done that! Ideal for a confident OHSET or 4Her, she could do every event.
I've owned her since she was 2 and started her under saddle. Jax is safe, reliable in the mountains, packed in on hunting trips, hobbles, high lines and very sure footed. She has worked cows a bit, ran a few cows team roping, roped the dummy. We lived on a ranch for 3 years when she was younger, months of long long days in the saddle and she never tires. Jax has done a few play days, some team penning, hauled in a bunch into all kinds of situations, I've rode her english some and she loves the contact. Can ride her in a hackmore, snaffle, short shank or halter, bareback, double, in water, with horses or solo. She will pony or be led, goes over bridges, down the road with traffic and night rides, she will always bring you home. No buck, bite or kick, she loves her people, extremely affectionate and loves to be pampered and talked to. She's the first one to whinny when she sees you coming to the gate, very easy to catch, clean in her stall, easy keeper.
She is very maternal, has taken amazing care of my son (10yrs old), who I feel comfortable throwing on her anytime.
Jax does need a confident rider. She can get pushy when she sits very long and is a good sized strong horse. Jax is very sensitive and wants to be someone's partner. We are downsizing and she's an extra.
