Valentino🥀 aka Kiss Of Poison A thoroughbred with a Quarter Horse build to him! Valentino is a 4 yr old, 16hh. He is the sweetest love bug there is and loves attention! He is the first one waiting for you at the gate when you pull up to feed, ride, do chores or just hangout with him. He is currently in front shoes but I don’t see him needing them UNLESS you have very rocky terrain than I would keep his shoes on but other than that he’s got good solid feet and shockingly doesn’t have those “thoroughbred” feet to him. Valentino use to jump over small logs and cross rails but he has showed zero interest in jumping but when it comes to barrels he catches on very quickly and seems to be loving it! Valentino can go out with other horses (both mares and geldings), he is also good in a stall. He stands for Vet, Farrier, loads up with ease, stands to be tied, etc. He goes out on trails alone or with a group, he walks by cars and tractors with no spook or bolting. With him being 4 he does have his little baby days where he doesn’t want to do what you ask of him but if you continue after him he will eventually stop his baby ways and do what you ask. Valentino doesn’t buck, rear or bolt only con about him is since being an ex-racehorse he does crib BUT nothing too bad because he only does it after he eats his grain and then he goes on his merry way after about 1 minute of cribbing. He’s currently trotting the pattern and cantering away from 3rd (my arena isn’t big but if it was I’m sure he’d add a lot more speed than a canter!) Price will go up the more he trains and gets better at barrels
