Wilson is an 11 year old draft cross gelding in search of a forever home. He has a sweet, inquisitive personality that is hard not to fall in love with! He has lots of miles on the trails, rides Western and English, does basic w/t/c in the arena, moves off your leg, opens gates, and crosses bridges. He is a true gentleman on the ground, easy to catch, groom, tack up, trailer, tie, lunge. Stands for the farrier, easy to de-worm, blanket, and good for the vet.

That being said, Wilson is sensitive and requires a confident rider with good feel. He can get quick and nervous (nothing unmanageable) at the canter, but has never offered anything naughty, just gets worried. The worst he ever does when startled is scoot forward a few steps and stop.
Wilson thrives with a gentle hand, routine, and R+ training. He is food motivated but respectful around treats.

Currently barefoot with great hooves, but would do well with shoes on rougher trails. Super easy keeper, gets fat on air. Does best off grass and in work 4+ days a week.
