Gunner is a stunning 5-year-old gelding with a kind personality. He has outstanding papers and a whole lot of talent to go with them. Gunner will be a great partner for someone wanting to get started in the reining world or someone who wants a good horse to do a ton of riding on. Gunner took 3rd place in the NRHA Open Reining Finals in 2022(watch his run here: 221001 Open Reining Finals Todd Sommers Quik Gun Flinn).
Gunner also has a great foundation! He recently went through the Academy Training Horse Program at the Downunder Horsemanship Ranch. While there, he learned the entire Fundamentals level of the method (groundwork and riding), was taken though the entire obstacle course extensively, and was ridden out on the trail. Gunner excelled on the obstacle course, confidently crossing over anything put in his way. He also carried a flag, learned to drag logs, and rides confidently with a stock whip being cracked.
Gunner has a huge personality that will melt anybody’s heart. It would be great to find him a home where he can help someone who wants to get into the reining world. He is definitely one that likes to have a job!
