Pebbles is a Mustang from the Spring Mountain HMA in southwestern Nevada. She looks just like a Connemara pony, is athletic, and is sweet as can be, She won overall champion in the 2019 SoCal Tip Challenge with my then 14 year old daughter. Her ground manners and handling are impeccable. She stands well for the farrier and loads well. She has always been barefoot. She will stand freely to be groomed and saddled. Pebbles also does well with other horses. Since her herd was from an emergency gather, we let her grow up and saddle trained her at 5. Pebbles can W/T/C, has a start to a sidepass and spin, backs nicely, and has a really good stop. She has been exposed to a little sorting and a little trail, and has also done a little dressage. Pebbles has a solid start with professional trainers, however she is still green and needs a more experienced, or a relaxed rider who will guide her through her green moments in new situations. She is a very smart, very aware horse, and is sensitive to cues, so she does better with someone who has knowledge and body control, or is working with a trainer. She has never offered to buck, rear, or bite, and is very much a pocket pony! She also loves kids, but is not quite a kids horse yet, although she has been ridden by teenagers and they have done a great job on her. She would be great for a handy teenager. We really think that Pebbles could go any direction. She could be a reining pony, or possibly a jumping pony. She looks good both English and Western, and has the movement to go either way. Pebbles is very special to us, she spent several years growing up with us. A good home is a must. We would keep her, but all the kids are in college and mom can't ride all the horses. Pebbles deserves to be ridden and have a special person of her own. We require first right of refusal and would like her to go to someone who will share updates on her future.
