Valentine, 14yr old 15.1hh gelding with excellent skills under saddle. He’s forward-thinking, responsive, and a joy to ride in the arena, on trails, or for casual riding. With his talent and potential, he’d make a fantastic partner for an experienced rider.

That said, Valentine comes with some ground manner challenges that require the right handler. He is pasture-aggressive when you enter his pen, and can exhibit dominant behavior, especially around feeding time. Additionally, he can be defensive and occasionally mean when being saddled, requiring someone who is confident, and willing to work through these behaviors calmly and consistently.

This gelding needs someone who can give him the structure, boundaries, and patience required to help him thrive. He’s not a beginner’s horse but will excel in the right hands.
He stands for farrier, loads in trailer, and bathes well. If I had more time to work with him I would keep him but unfortunately I have too many time constraints.
