Meet Ruger! He is a 18-year-old quarter horse gelding.
We bought him from a trail riding company (Elk Mountain Riding Company in North Carolina) for our twelve-year-old daughter. He was said to be 17 when we bought him, however our vet guessed 15 based on his teeth. He stands good for our farrier and leads. He lives with cows, sheep and gets along great with all the barnyard animals. He is best friends with our ewe. He is fine with our dogs. He gets fat on air and is an easy keeper. He used to ride in parades and shows. A friend came and rode him and he was side stepping and doing fancy foot work. He needs an experienced rider who can get the best out of him. We just want him to go to a good home. The reason why we are selling him so low is because we just don’t need him right now. Message for photos and videos. Thanks!
