Very sweet 15 year old, 14.3 hh Andalusian cross gelding available for on-farm half lease. The barn (Clairly Differently Stables) has a covered arena for winter riding and a network of trails.

Georgie (show name Trivio) is a very good boy. He has been trained and shown in dressage but he's also great for trail riding. He does a lovely WTC, leg yields, 6/10 temperament. Enjoys liberty training activities too.

I am looking for a rider who is intermediate/advanced. Since he is quite sensitive to aids, an inexperienced rider may find him hot, especially at the canter. His walk and trot are excellent but his canter can get a bit fast if the rider is unbalanced. All he needs is a "brrr" noise and deep seat to slow down. Georgie would do best with a rider who has soft hands. He is eager to please and very nice with other horses.

Georgie is barefoot but has front boots for trail riding. You are welcome to use my tack and grooming box, which includes a dressage saddle custom fit for Georgie, saddle pad, bridle, and front boots. He has great ground manners and will tack up quietly.

Half lease includes up to 3 days of riding per week. I will still be riding whenever I can (work has limited my availability). Rate is $450 per month, which covers half his board, plus a bit toward farrier, supplements, and meds. You may also take lessons with the barn owner, Claire Walton, at your own expense.
