Stella is an amazing athletic and smart mare. She has been taken to the beach, trail riding, camping, parades, carried a flag, sorted cows and gaming playdates. My daughter has been using her as a gaming horse but we feel Stella may be better suited for something other than gaming. She gets nervous when she’s put on a pattern. With time and the right person, I do believe she could be an amazing gaming horse. She is crazy fast, a free runner and can turn on a dime but you’d have to be willing to put in the time to get her there. We think she could be a wonderful dressage or English horse. She is super floaty and has a beautiful movement. She has also sorted cows and is very calm when working with them. She just finished 90 days of professional training. She has all the buttons you’d expect and is trained to move off your leg. She’s very sensitive and willing. She has a great foundation on her and is in shape and ready to be put to work. She is very forward and wouldn’t be suitable for a beginner or child. She’d do best with an intermediate or advanced rider. She has more go than whoa. She is great for the farrier, has great feet, stands tied to the trailer, crosses water, hops in the trailer without any issue and is great in new environments. It has been a hard decision to sell her. My daughter will be heading off to college in a year and a half and she’d love a horse she can compete on now. If she had 3 to 4 years, we’d keep her because I do believe she could get her there.
