We bought the dam, a half TB and half warmblood in foal to a warmblood stallion in SC. It was through an estate sale and the elderly woman who owned the mare and did the breeding did not keep up with the paperwork, so this filly has no papers. She was foaled on our farm with early imprinting. She stands for the farrier and has good ground manners. After weaning we turned her out to pasture so she could grow into a horse instead of a spoiled, hand-raised foal. We did groundwork on her last fall and some round pen work in a bitting rig. She is easy to work around and has a good temperament. We were excited about starting her this spring, but our house burned to the ground last Thanksgiving and we have so much going on with the rebuilding that we aren't going to have the time for her that she deserves. We are cutting down on horses because we have limited time due to the fact that we are now living half an hour away. She is still growing and has added an inch just recently. She should top out well over 16h. She is going to make someone a FANTASTIC horse and we like her too much to just let her sit in pasture. She needs a job. Video of her can be seen at hiddencreekva.com under horses for sale.
