“Roger That” 11.2H, 8 year old. FLASHY! 4 white socks, blue eyes and a beautiful mover!
Double Registered American Show Pony and American Shetland Pony gelding. 11.3h, barefoot and sound. Drives, rides-walk trot canter and jumps. He was shown at Congress in 2018 and was reserve champion in the Shetland Halter division. He is said to have extensive training driving with adults and kids. Ideally I’d like to offer Roger as a “care lease” to an approved home to ensure he will always have a soft landing if need be. He was purchased under the assumption that he was a bit bigger, unfortunately I don’t have any lesson students small enough for him. He’s an adorable jumper, has an almost auto lead change. He’s been with me since November, it would be wonderful if someone could give him the attention he deserves! Roger is as sweet as can be, once he knows you and feels safe. This little guy must’ve had a rough past as he is very fearful at first, but he does relax quickly once he realizes he’s not going to be hurt. He is wonderful under saddle, no dangerous behaviors and he is a pro on the ground. He loves to be ridden and have a job! Roger aims to please but needs someone to take their time with him and give him reassurance. Not for beginners, intermediate with trainer.
