Barbie is a 2009 Oldenburg (Sire is Bravo and dam is Lady Hawke). She has a very sweet personality and loves when she gets picked to come out and play. She is a stunning horse with a nice uphill build and catches everyone’s eye with her movement and fancy toe flicking. I believe she would excel greatly moving into a career in dressage. Barbie has previously been a brood mare so her experience in showing is minimal. She has dabbled in show jumping and has schooled around some cross country jumps but is a tad timid to jumping over new things. She does best with a confident rider who can show her the way in the jumping department. Barbie is more woah than go and super safe. No bolt, spin or rear. Shes a little sensitive to the spur so sometimes if you poke her too much she will offer a small buck but never anything that would unseat you. She is in the process of learning how to properly move forward into the bridle and would benefit from a soft handed rider who can allow her to learn in this area. Barbie would be the perfect fit for a motivated adult amateur or JR in a program.
