Offering for sale only because my son bought her as a project, his horse passed and now he’s like to recoup funds to buy another horse. Martha has come along ways. She is very broke for a kid riding confidently on their own. She is a mini and a mare at that, she will test a boundary to see if her new rider is confident if they are solo. She isn’t mean and won’t hurt them but will take advantage if she can. She will cut corners and buddy up if allowed. She is great leadline from the ground or lead behind another horse. She is hard to catch in a big area. Good for farrier. She is getting better trailering, this was an issue when we got her. I haul her mostly with a load of horses at the end and she does just fine. She will paw if by herself. My kids use her on our cattle ranch. They move cows on her, sort, gather whatever the day brings. They pull the sled behind her, stand in the saddle. They’re kids and they act like it. She’s been treated like a big horse. Lunges and rides like a big horse. Desensitized all around, she packs a tarp does anything they ask. She may give them attitude but she will do it. She takes a bit, good to saddle. Does not like her blanket. Isn’t a horse that loves pets or being brushed. Tolerates it but does not care for it. Her biggest thing is still learning patience. Take her to playdays, rodeo or ranch ride her. She’s got a good price but will go up if not sold. If he does not sell she will be used to rodeo and ranch for the upcoming season and price will reflect that experience. Please contact me for her price and come meet her. She’s worth it
