Calling all mare lovers! Sophie is a flashy, athletic girl who could go in many different directions. She is green under saddle but straightforward and willing. I popped her over her first ever jumps recently and she was fantastic - with some polishing she would make a cute hunter or eventer. She loves having a job! She rides western and English and was started on poles and barrels with her previous owner. Good on trails and has been exposed to lots of things. Does all the things a good citzen should do - stands tied, hauls, bathes, clips, etc. She’s a proven broodmare, 6 panel negative, homozygous tobiano and was only started under saddle a couple of years ago.

Soph has a strong personality and gains a lot of confidence from her handler. With a calm, confident, experienced handler, she’s wonderful. Unfortunately, she walks all over beginners and is a completely different horse when she doesn’t have consistent, clear boundaries. I’ve been working with her one on one for the last week and I love working with the calm, connected version of Sophie that appeared almost instantly when she got the clarity she needed in sessions. She’s very sweet and wants to please, with a fun personality that is sure to keep you entertained.
