I have had this mare for 6 years and have never called a vet on her for anything other than routine care. ~ Criollo breed avg life span 40 yrs. This breed known for stamina, hardiness and strong feet. ~ Has over 1,500 trail miles across southeast. ~ Safe, sound and super sure-footed, crosses creeks, bridges, roads and is fine with wildlife. ~ Great for intermediate kid or small adult; great size for getting on / off, while on the trail. ~ Loads and trailers like a dream. Stands tied to trailer or tree while on the trail. Camps great. ~ Can be "mare-ish", doesn't like another horse running up on her or cantering past. ~ Prefers to have trail buddy, but will go out alone w/ confident rider. ~ Middle of the herd, can go with mares or geldings. Easy keeper. ~ Asking $2,500. Reason for sale is not enough time for 3 horses. ~ Additional pictures / videos upon request.
