This guy is the whole package! He’s smart, forgiving, willing, gentle AND athletic! He works all jobs around the ranch (gathering, sorting, driving, pasture roping, etc.) A year and a half ago we hauled him for the first time for our 7 year old’s Rodeo Bible Camp. He stepped off the trailer calm, cool and collected, and he maintained that throughout the camp in whatever situation he found himself in (crowded warm up area? No problem! Water bottles getting dropped and crunched- who cares?)
I’m brand new to learning to team rope, and the first time out of the box I caught on him. *Let me interject- he is NOT a finished rope horse. He has been started as a rope horse before we got him, but I’ve just used him to ranch on. My husband does the pasture roping on him, not me*
He is such a fun horse. He’s FAST, but definitely not a runaway. He loves to jump things. He stands well for the farrier and loads super easy. I’ve started riding him bridle-less and bareback (will post new videos of that later).
