Millie is a 12 year old grade sorrel mare. She’s 15.1 hands, a very smooth ride and an easy keeper. Millie is big on trust and will do anything for her rider once she gets to know them. With a bond established, Millie is brave and level headed, but until then she will be alert and forward. She is smart and doesn’t take much more than kindness and consistency to earn her trust. She was a working ranch horse most of her life and is happy to move out. She knows how to spin, but hasn’t done it since August. I was told she can be roped off of but haven’t tried it. She likes the trail and would excel at it with more exposure. She goes out alone, is soft in the face and yields to leg. She requires a kind and confident intermediate rider.
