Murphy is a solid black 2021 apha gelding by Lopin Lazy out of a halter/western performance mare. He stands at 15.3, and should finish maturing at 16+ hh.
This horse is just like his pedigree says he should be and is a performance showing guy. He is not a trail horse or a gaming horse. He does best in a consistent workload and is always happy to get into the arena. He would excel in hunter pleasure, dressage, or western dressage, and could potentially slow down for western pleasure. He is flashy and loves to “flick” his front legs in a show-y strong trot.
Has been to shows for showmanship and halter and always placed well. He loves hopping in the trailer to experience a show!
He has been very lightly started and is still considered very green. An experienced rider is suggested as he is still young and has those young horse ya-yas on occasion.
Murphy is a silly goofy gelding with ears forward always. He can be pushy or be in your space if allowed, but is easily corrected. He is a “busy body” and craves attention.
He has some leg blemishes that do not affect him (proud flesh on back left fetlock, and two wind puffs on his front legs).
