Meet MCM Annie Oakley “Cleo”! Cleo is a stunning 13yo 15.2hh registered Appaloosa mare out of Seraiya and Drea Ochocos Rainy R.

Cleo is very versatile and rides English or western. She comes from world champion jumping and dressage stock, but would also make a perfect partner for someone pursuing western pleasure, light gaming, trail riding, and occasional cow work. She can do it all and her gaits are lovely! Cleo has a sound mind, learns quickly, and is forgiving and kind. She is not a hot horse and can sit for long periods of time and be the same horse as when you left her. Her calm disposition makes her a steady, safe and confident partner for both beginner and advanced riders. She would make an amazing kid/husband horse or the perfect partner for someone needing to boost their confidence.

Cleo is my daughter’s first horse and was the perfect partner for her. They did a year and a half of OHSET together and competed locally in gaming events. My daughter has stepped up to a faster horse now and that is why Cleo is for sale. She is truly a gem and we wish we could keep her.

She bathes, loads/hauls, is conformationally sound, has great feet and is excellent for the farrier, goes barefoot, lunges, and leads. She is an easy horse to handle and be around.

Cleo does have one downside, and that is that she is PSSM 1 positive and should never be bred. Her condition doesn’t require demanding or ultra specific care—just no grains and no sugars. Currently, she is on pasture full time, eating local hay, and NW Horse minerals with zero issues. When she was my daughter’s main horse that she competed with, we had her living on pasture eating alfalfa, NW horse minerals and lower-sugar grass hays.
