Braxton is a gorgeous "been there, done that" horse. He has done competitive barrel racing, rodeo queen, parades, drill team, trail riding, swimming, been my daughters lead line/peewee horse & been to many local game shows throughout the years. He has been around cows & done fine - I don't participate in cow events often, so it's not a regular thing for him. He is currently living the semi retired / occasional arena work life since I have three young children & just don't have the time to haul him anymore. He has too much life left in him to be doing nothing. He is a zero maintenance (besides a full set of shoes) horse. Never been injected. When legged up, this guy still runs in the 2D/3D with the right rider - I say this because with my daughter (she's six) he drags his feet, but with me he runs his heart out. He hauls great, stands for the farrier (usually falls asleep), can stand tied all day long & be put out to pasture with anyone & have no issues. He keeps to himself around other horses & is a very easy keeper. I think he would be a great fit for a youth rider looking for a step up horse. Has no quirks or does anything dumb while in high stress settings. Never needed to be led in or out of the arena. Never bucked or reared. He gets excited at the gate, but nothing out of control or dangerous & always keeps all 4 on the floor. I am currently working on getting him legged up for showings since I have been unable to ride him consistently through the winter with my kids' crazy sports schedules.
