Meet Gigi, a 12-year-old mare standing at approx 13.2 ready for her next chapter. After spending all of her life in the western discipline, she has been in full training with Bare Necessities Eventing for the past 6 months, where she has quickly shown promise in dressage, show jumping, and eventing.

Gigi is light in the bridle, responsive to seat aids, and has a natural eagerness to move forward. She comfortably works in a snaffle on the flat but performs best with a Pelham in the jumping ring due to her forward nature. She would be an excellent match for an experienced rider who can guide her within a structured program to help her continue progressing. Gigi has jumped up to 2’3” (show jumping and xc) and has potential for much more.

This mare is a pleasure to handle—she ties well, trailers with ease, and enjoys going out for hacks. Gigi is also an easy keeper and thrives barefoot.

During her first-ever show, Gigi handled the experience like a pro, leaving all poles up for clear rounds!
